AI Airports International

Sale of Assets

On 22-Apr-2009, the shareholders of AI Airports International (AI) authorized the Board of directors of AI to initiate a formal sales process for all assets held by AI. AI has retained Goldman Sachs to act as exclusive financial advisor for the sale of AI's stakes in Parma Airport, Sochaczew Airport Project Company, Bydgoszcz Airport and Lake Baikal Airport (Ulan Ude) as well as the stakes in the airport consulting companies ACV-MS and ADM.

Parma Airport is located in the wealthy region of Northern Italy and currently serves as a low-cost airport, regional feeder and general aviation airport.

Sochaczew is a promising project company with the goal to establish a secondary airport for Warsaw by 2012, focused on best-in-class low-cost service.

Bydgoszcz is a regional low-cost hub in North-Central Poland and home-base of Polish high-growth regional carrier Jet Air.

Lake Baikal Airport is located in Ulan Ude, capital city of the Republic of Buryatia in Southern Russia currently serving mainly local demand and increasingly targeting international operations. ACV MS and ADM are international consulting companies focussed on the Central and Eastern European market offering services for the construction and development of airports.
